Doug is a Growth Partner at Emergence Capital, an early-stage VC firm investing in series A & B stage SaaS start-ups. Doug's role as a growth partner is to provide free GTM consulting to the Emcap portfolio. Based on extensive experience building and scaling GTM in companies like Oracle, Google, SFDC and Box Doug focuses his efforts on helping his early-stage companies to identify and overcome the gaps, hurdles, and challenges they will face when trying to build an iconic software company.
Doug previously worked at Box as Chief Story Teller, helping Box become more customer-centric, ensuring reps know how to tell the right stories that are most relevant to their customers and prospects, he was also VP of Sales Productivity at Box, helping reps and partners close more business with the right tools, skills, and knowledge.
