  1. How did you get into sales?
I'm a marketer and not a seller, but as a marketer I am always charged with partnering with and serving the sales team, so I've definitely been working closely with sales for over a decade. Over the past three and a half years, I've been working at SalesLoft, an organization whose mission is to equip companies to maximize revenue by creating a fantastic buying experience. I've also had the pleasure of collaborating with the sales organization here to develop an account-based revenue organization from the ground up. So while I've never technically been "in sales," I certainly empathize much more with the challenges of selling.

  2. What's your favorite thing about MSP?
My favorite thing about MSP are definitely the salons. The virtual salons are great, but I'm very excited to get back to MSP's next local in-person salon, whenever that happens. It's such quality knowledge sharing and networking, and I love having the opportunity to talk about growing an account-based revenue team with all of the talented members of the MSP community.

  3. What do you love about your job?

I love leading a team. It's so rewarding and a true privilege to be able to work at SalesLoft and have ample resources to help them learn, grow and develop into leaders. I also love digging into data, reports, dashboards and spreadsheets and trying to find insights. That's something I'll never get tired of or stop doing. Finally, I love generating, contributing to and influencing pipeline at the company. That's what I'm held accountable for, and my overall mission at SalesLoft.

  4. What one piece of advice do you want to share with the MSP community?

I would say invest in organizational health between sales and marketing. There's no alignment and no account-based anything without strong organizational health.
